TV Round Up: Ariana Grande on Tonight Show & Neal Patrick Harris’ Best Time Ever
There have been a few great moments of TV over the past 24 hours, and in case you missed them, let’s share:
Ariana Grande on Tonight Show
In the return of one of Jimmy Fallon’s best segments, Ariana Grande got to spin the Wheel of Musical Impressions. Needless to say, she slayed it. Britney, Christina and Celine are three powerhouse vocalists and, while they’re not known for songs like “Marry Had a Little Lamb” or “The Wheels on the Bus,” Grande didn’t disappoint to deliver pop-diva quality performances.
Best Time Ever premiers with Neal Patrick Harris
A new variety show hosted by Neal Patrick Harris has hit the air. The five-time Emmy Awards and a Tony Award winning star may just be the perfect person to host this live one-hour show. It’s not quite like anything else on TV, which is something that is pretty hard to do these days. The show will feature celebrity appearances, stunts, comedy skits, performances, games, audience giveaways and hidden camera pranks.
While it’s easy to be skeptical of new shows in this ever-evolving late night format, Best Time Ever might just have what it takes to make it more than one season. Check out the first episode where Harris pranks The Voice judges. It’s awkward and awesome.
