Stranger Things Season 2: Trailer

By  |

Finally, a trailer for another thrilling season of ‘Stranger Things,’ is out. The trailer debuted last weekend at Comic-Con in San Diego and now, we couldn’t be more excited for October 27.

The first full trailer was set to Michael Jackson’s classic song, “Thriller,” and had a creepy voiceover of late, great king of horror, Vincent Price. Also, it included horrifying images of the Up-side-down, which offered hints of more terror for the friend group from Hawkins, Indiana who we grew to love.

To begin, the trailer showed a scene of a video game, called “Dragons Lair,’ which was a classic in the 1980s. Suddenly, the setting transformed for Will and we could quickly tell that he is going to face even bigger threats than the first season. Will said, “I saw something…I felt it everywhere,” as he cried to his mother.

Each scene was more anticipatory than the next. There were scenes from  Chief Jim Hopper, who is trying to get to the bottom of what is going on in the scary town. Additionally, the trailer ended with a scene from the fan favorite, “Eleven,” who tried to stick her hand out of the Up-side-down, and hopefully she will be saved.

One of the best parts of the trailer was the fact that the friend group went as “The Ghostbusters” for Halloween. Ghostbusters actually came out two months before the events in Stranger Things season two from the outlook of these brave kids, so it seemed fitting to say the least. Also, they are clearly trying to make a ghost trap, which made it even more of a suitable costume.
