Stranger Things Cast Take Over Mac DeMarco Concert

By  |

Finn Wolfhard is clearly not just fearless in his part on Stranger Things as Mike Wheeler. He was recently spotted during a performance by Mac DeMarco. DeMarco brought out Wolfhard to play guitar during his set at the Tabernacle in Atlanta this past weekend and the melodic and unexpected duo exceeded our expectations, to say the least.

Wolfhard’s Stranger Things co-star Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy Wheeler, caught it all on camera. She also captured footage of a stagediving Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington. Apparently, even Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, was at the show as well. Dyer’s video is now on YouTube, so you can see his killer performance for yourself:

It was definitely surprising to see Wolfhard show off his creative talents in another light, on stage with DeMarco, especially when he climbed atop his shoulders and continued to jam out on the guitar. Last year, DeMarco actually shared an acoustic cover with Wolfhard of the title track Salad Days. Clearly, DeMarco outdid himself by bringing him out to this show. Also, those fans struck gold by purchasing those tickets for a performance like that.

Dyer also posted videos on to her personal Instagram account of Wolfhard’s performance. Her caption was, “this lil monster shredding at the @macdemarco show last night,” and highlighted some of the best parts of the performance.

Admittedly, this show most significantly reminded us that the premiere of Stranger Things is near. The premiere date is Halloween night, so we are expecting an even creepier season to follow the first. Watch the trailer, which aired during the Super Bowl, to get even more excited for the second season.

Don’t miss out on Dyer’s video of Wolfhard or the second season of Stranger Things, or you might just fall into the upside down.

Stay tuned with SD Entertainer for further updates on new cast members, spoilers, and more for the upcoming season of Stranger Things.
