Don’t Miss the This is Us Season 2: First Trailer

We hope that you have a full box of Kleenex in arm’s length before watching the newest trailer for Season 2 of This is Us. If you’re an avid This is Us viewer, we are certain that you already know that every episode results in a puddle of tears, and it appears that the newest season is going to be no different. In the first trailer for the second season of NBC’s This is Us, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) are engaging in a heartfelt conversation about adoptions. The conversation began by Randall admitting that his wife, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), was unsure of the adoption after negative pregnancy tests in the past season. He needed optimistic comfort and understanding from Rebecca, a mother who also had to decide whether or not to adopt a child. He asked Rebecca about his own adoption and Rebecca contended that she, like Beth, had doubts.

“But your father was so sure” she said. “He was so determined that you were meant to be ours.” She also asserted that her husband Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) made some of the hardest decisions in their marriage, but praised him for it because she needed his strength when the going got tough. “Sometimes in marriage, someone has to be the one to push to make a big move,” Rebecca told Randall with every intention that Randall would do the same in his own marriage. Thus, without Jack’s push, Randall would’ve never joined the Big Three who us viewers have grown to love.
