Wiz Khalifa engaged to Amber Rose

As of March 1, it is official -rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24, popped the question to model girlfriend Amber Rose and the couple is officially engaged.

Wiz, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, tweeted shortly after: “She Said Yes!!!” with a picture of a sizeable oval-cut diamond ring on Amber’s finger.

Rose quickly followed suit and posted onto her twitter “He made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!…We love all u Rosebuds, Rosestuds & Taylors so much!”  Rose, 28, was previously linked to Kanye West on and off from 2008 to 2010 but recently blamed Kim Kardashian for the breakup, alleging that West had cheated on her with the reality TV star.

Wiz and Amber started dating in early 2011.  They appeared together on an episode of “RapFix Live” in March 2011.  They did not bother keeping their romance a secret.  Wiz got her name etched onto his finger after just a few months of dating, and she returned the favor by having ‘Cam’ (Wiz’s real name) tattooed onto the inside of her index finger.  The couple had discussed the probability of marriage on numerous interviews.

“We [Wiz Khalifa and I] are very much in love and we’re really, really busy.  He [Wiz Khalifa] is in LA working on his album. I’m in NY working on my album. We travel a lot, separately. We do want to get married and  will get married,” Rose said in an interview. “But we want to get married, enjoy each other, have babies and be able to take time off. We’ll get married when things calm down a little bit.”

Apparently things have calmed down for the hot couple.  Sharing their love with fans via twitter is no new feat, as Rose would tweet: “I wanted his name tatted on me a mililon times.  He’s a dream come true…He’s my angel.’ [sic]

No formal dates or arrangements have yet been set for the ceremony but Hollywood rumors have already begun to circulate.  As for the colored theme of their wedding, who knows? Maybe black and yellow.
