Rachel and Bryan’s Future Plans After the Bachelorette Finale

After the emotional season finale of ‘The Bachelorette’ starring Rachel Lindsay, you’re probably wondering, “So what happens next?”

If you’re a loyal Bachelorette fan, you must already know that Lindsay picked Bryan Abasolo after an emotional break-up with runner-up Peter Kraus. Kraus wasn’t willing to pop the question immediately, so at first glance, it seemed like Abasolo won by default. However, the couple was glowing at the ‘After the Final Rose’ live show and are excited for their future plans. We are, too.

The engaged couple has yet to set an official wedding date at this point in time, but Lindsay wants a winter wedding. Abasolo said, There is a general time of a year that we want to do it. End of next year, early 2019. She definitely wants a winter wedding” in a cover story recorded by PEOPLE.

They also spoke briefly about having kids in the future, but didn’t share a timeline just yet and disagreed on how many. “I like three. She wants four,” said Chiropractor Abasolo. Lindsay added, “I think we’d have pretty babies!”

As of now, the newly engaged couple is doing long distance with Lindsay living in Texas and Abasolo in Miami. Abasolo and Lindsay agreed that they “just want to be together” and have plans to relocate soon. They also said that they both really like Los Angeles.

In the near future, they plan on meeting each other’s extended families by bringing on the engagement parties.

Lindsay said, “We are having an engagement party in Dallas first, and then we’re going to hang out with my family. Then I’m taking him to Houston, which is where my extended family is. Then we’re going to Miami and we’re having an engagement party. We’re going to be busy!”

We are definitely expecting a “happily ever after” love story for Abasolo and Lindsay.
