“Twilight” star Nikki Reed Engaged to “American Idol” Singer Paul McDonald

After being together for only two months, since they started dating last March, the couple have decided to tie the knot on their romance. According to People Magazine, the couple showed off Reed’s gorgeous “sparkler” on her left ring finger at their appearance at the MTV Movie Awards. They were found grinning from ear to ear with happiness as they showed off their joyous news.

Busy night for Reed, 23, as her film, Eclipse, won multiple awards that night and her getting engaged. She’s admitted that McDonald, 26, is the one for her.

The actress has been popularly known for her portrayals as Rosalie Hale, the sizzling and tough vampire member of the Cullen family. At the MTV Movie Awards, her recent film, Eclipse, was given the awards of Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Best Kiss (Kristen Stewart and Robert Patterson), Best Fight )Robert Patterson vs Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel), and Best Male Performance (Robert Patterson).

She will be playing Rosalie again in the series’ upcoming film Breaking Dawn in both part one and two. She has some new plans though after the films are done. She told E! Online that she wants to do some theater work and go to school to study business and marketing. Although she has a hard time concentrating since McDonald is constantly singing to her. The pair moved in together at McDonald’s place about two weeks ago, according to MTV Awards news, and Reed has been trying to her fiancé a recording contract. Her singing husband is known for his appearance in this year’s American Idol where he placed 8^th last April.

Reed admits that she absolutely loves him. She says that he makes her laugh and has a huge sweet heart. Despite dealing with those who believe that the couple is moving too fast, they are reportedly house-hunting to spend the rest of their lives together in. McDonald is even writing a bunch of songs that are to be dedicated to his lovely soon-to-be wife. She told E! Online that he is hoping to release a “Nikki Reed EP.” Nikki is McDonald’s muse in both love and music. I wonder when they plan on having their wedding.
