New Summer Show: World of Dance

Considering there are plenty of dancing themed television shows, such as So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars, it may not seem very fitting to add another one into the mix. However, Jennifer Lopez is confident that her new show, World of Dance, is bound to become a summer hit.

World of Dance features some top notch judges, first and foremost. Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough (plus host-mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum) will critique some of the best dancers from all over the world. Even in episode one, which aired on May 30 on NBC, we immediately noticed that these dancers are beyond talented.

Initially, J Lo wasn’t going to be a judge because she was going to focus on her position as an executive producer. However, her judging and dancing experience is an utter selling point for the show. She even confidently stated, “people know me and enjoy me in this role.” The fact that J Lo is going to be  a judge on the show is reason enough alone for you to watch it.

Additionally, the show is set apart from the other dancing themed shows considering it reaches out to contestants from all over the globe. If you couldn’t tell, that is the reason why the show is titled, World of Dance; Some of the contestants are from New Zealand, South Korea, and Ireland. Also, the French twins, Les Twins, have worked with Beyonce before and they are going to be on the show.

If J Lo, an all-star line up of judges, and international dancers didn’t convince you to watch World of Dance, you should also know that this show is offering one of the biggest awards in dance-show history. The winner will win $1 million, so we are certain that all these competitive dancers are going to fight to death and be on their A-game.
