Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Tangle on Engagement Ring

If you think your relationship is in turmoil -whether it’s something serious like your significant other or something as whimsical as your flamboyant, fluffy dog- then look no further than Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

This morning, Cyrus admitted on the Ellen Degeneres Show that she replaced her ring with, ‘an actual unicorn or Looney tune,’ citing that it doesn’t fit her visual needs.

The high-caliber celebrity power couple has undergone at least three breakups. If you would like to keep track of the timetable, we warn you that it can be quite confounding to quantify their issues. But this much is certain: Cyrus has gripes over her engagement ring because it doesn’t resemble an ‘aesthetic’ that she is accustomed to wearing.

So, the former actress and current pop-singer has elected to wear the ring on an occasional basis. What is even more baffling is the ambiguous nature of their apparent current engagement—which appears to be in a state of flux.

We think the twerk queen has a superfluous amount of drama in the works; and much like her feud with Hemsworth, the engagement has been a tumultuous roller-coaster. A month after her twerking fiasco, the engagement had been cancelled -back in 2013- according to a representative for Cyrus, which wasn’t the first time the couple had recanted their proposed wedding arrangement.

Despite what many consider to be a strained partnership, Liam and Miley seem to be mending the wounds to their, shall we say, friendship?
