Mel Gibson Threatens Ex-Girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva

The latest news on Mel Gibson’s personal life might just leave you speechless—a reaction the actor seems to be inspiring a little too often as of late. In yet another offscreen debacle, tapes that allegedly feature Gibson violently ranting and raving at his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, have surfaced and been published on RadarOnline.com.

In the first of the tapes, which came to light a few days ago, Gibson berates Grigorieva for her manner of dress, fuming, “You go around sashaying in your tight clothes. I won’t stand for that anymore.” He continues, “You are provocatively dressed all the time with your fake boobs that you feel you have to show off.”

The couple, who had been dating for over a year and have an eight-month old daughter together, split this past April—and the process has been messy, to say the least. After the first tape was released, a second, infinitely more disturbing tape surfaced a few days later. In it, Gibson allegedly admits to beating and abusing Grigorieva, yelling, “You need a [expletive] bat in the side of the head. Alright, how about that?”

It is unknown who leaked the audio footage, which contains numerous misogynistic and violent statements from Gibson, and which could give Grigorieva an enormous advantage in the court battles she and Gibson have been waging over the custody of their daughter.

For his part, the Braveheart star has stated that the allegations of abuse that Grigorieva has made (she claims Gibson punched her in the face at least twice, breaking her teeth) are completely false, and that in fact Grigorieva broke the law by attempting to extort him for money.

The effects of the heated and bitter feud between the two have already begun to show: as of this week Gibson’s agency, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, has dropped him as a client.
