The Entertainer Quickie is here for you again: Lindsay Lohan is going to trial, Chris Brown is performing on DWTS and Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding will be available on iTunes.
Lindsay Lohan is going to trial
Today is the day, Ms. Lindsay Lohan must decide whether or not to accept a plea bargain that will include jail time for the alleged jewelry store theft back in January.
Lohan is accused of a felony for walking out of Komofie and Co. jewelry store on January 22 with a $2,500 necklace and not paying for it. The store reported the theft soon after and before the police could search Lohan, she had a friend turn the necklace into the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division Station.
The big decision is to take the plea deal (which includes jail time) or go to trial for felony grand theft since the necklace was worth over $950, in accordance to California law. If Lohan pleads guilty or no contest, she is going to return to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday. If she goes to trial, Lohan will attend a preliminary hearing on April 22nd.
Word is Lindsay has decided to go to trial.
