Kanye West celebrates 40th birthday

Remember 2 Chainz release of the 2012 “Birthday Song?” If you haven’t heard it in a while or simply forgot the lyrics, all you need to know is that 2 Chainz asked for a “big booty hoe” for his Birthday. Kanye West was featured in the song and stated that he deserved to be greedy, considering it was his birthday. One can assume that “greediness” is one of West’s most ac knowledgeable characteristics, despite the fact that if it was his birthday or not. On the other hand, since it actually is West’s birthday today, we’ll cut him some slack.

Today, June 8, 2017, marks West’s 40th Birthday and he celebrated his birthday in style. His wife and him dropped nearly half a million dollars to go to the Bahamas for a celebration. Specifically, the West family traveled to Baker’s Bayon the island of Great Guana Cay. Reportedly, they stayed at a private home owned by Mike Delman, who is the owner of Casamigos Tequila in collaboration with Rande Gerber and George Clooney.

Considering West has been extremely busy with his work, they had to make the trip an early birthday celebration, and afterwards, West went straight back to work. Luckily, he was able to spend some time off with his family relaxing by the pool beforehand.

Kris Jenner, his mother-in-law posted a sweet Instagram post as a tribute to her son in the wee hours of the morning, clearly thinking about and cherishing her beloved son. She said,“Happy birthday to my son #kanyewest!” she captioned a collage of photos of the two over the years. “You are an amazing Dad, amazing son, amazing brother and a beautiful soul who I love so very much … you bring such joy and are such an inspiration to all of us and we are beyond blessed to have you in our lives … I hope you have the most wonderful day filled with love.”

Even though West can be obnoxious at times, he is undoubtedly talented with a family who loves him deeply. He’s also remarkably received over 92 awards, had 380 nominations, and even won the Best Rap Album grammy for College Drop Out (2004). Happy Birthday to Kanye West from SD Entertainer!
