Entertainer Quickie: Kanye dating Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Love Hewitt’s celeb crush

Though the reality star played coy while she was on the “Today” show Friday morning, it is hard to ignore the rumors of a budding romance between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.  In a perfectly tailored response Kardashian stokes the embers a bit by saying “I completely respect and understand you have to ask these questions, but I’ve said it before: Kanye and I have been friends for years…You never know what the future holds or where my life will take me.”  Despite her reluctance to confirm the relationship, photos have been snapped that show the two getting dinner together, seeing the Hunger Games, and Kim sneaking out of Kanye’s building the morning after a late night date.

It is possible that she’s trying to remain respectful to the man she’s still legally married to.  Technically, the divorce has yet to be finalized between her and Chris Humphries, but that’s not stopping her new beaux from slamming the NBA player in a new single that was recently released.  West, as in the past, had no trouble speaking his mind with the lyrics.

“And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim around the time she fell in love with him.  Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thang.  Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”

Fun fact for anyone who didn’t know:  Jay-Z is the co-owner of the team Humphries plays for, the NY Nets, and he is West’s current touring partner.  So while Kim may be acting coy, it will be hard for this new high-profile couple to keep anything between them under wraps for long.

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s crush on Adam Levine

There could be another high-profile match on the horizon.  Any girl would have a hard time missing the fact that the front runner of Maroon 5 and host of The Voice is newly single.  He and his model girlfriend called it quits earlier this year and women all over the world rejoiced.  This celebration apparently included actress Jennifer Love Hewitt who announced on Ellen that she had a crush on the singer; “I always have my eyes out. When I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again … I’m just saying.”

Ellen kindly offered to call the singer and try and set them up, but the actress laughed it off and has been downplaying the crush ever since.  In response to the spotlight the media focused on the actress she tweeted, “Ok everybody calm down about Adam Levine! I just gave him a shout out as a hot guy on Ellen cause we were having fun! No need to get crazy!”
