HGTV’s stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa dating other people

For a show about house hunting, renovating and decorating, HGTV sure is bringing up a lot of drama in 2016. Earlier this year, we all received devastating news that sweet couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines were being accused of discriminating against certain couples on their show.

Now, one of HGTV’s hottest house-renovating couples have announced their split and are dating other people. Christina and Tarek El Moussa star on the hit TV show, Flip or Flop. The show focuses on the celeb couple, their family, and of course renovating houses.

The husband and wife duo shocked all fans who admired their relationship while watching HGTV’s Flip or Flop. The announcement came six months after an “unfortunate misunderstanding” between Tarek and Christina.

In May of 2016, the couple were involved in an altercation, in which Tarek left the house with a gun in his hand. 11 police cars and a helicopter were involved in the incident, however no one was harmed and no there were no charges.

Since the altercation, the couple is said to be living separately and dating other people. Among the rumors swirling around, Christina is said to be dating a fellow co-worker and contractor, Gary Anderson, who also witnessed Tarek’s incident in May.

So what does this mean for the hit TV show that the couple started together? Flip or Flop is said to still be going forward in production, the couple is hoping to continue their professional lives together. The two are dedicated to their two children, Taylor and Brayden, and will keep the process civil.

Many were under the impression that Tarek and Christina were the dream couple. Fashionable, family oriented, hardworking, and always a team. It definitely came as a shock to fans who didn’t see any of this coming.

2016 has really hit us hard, here’s to hoping for a better 2017, and no more scandals on HGTV.
