Entertainer Quickie: Man of Steel Workout for Henry Cavill; Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Express Regrets
“Man of Steel” Workout for Henry Cavill
Henry Cavill will be portraying as the famous Clark Kent in the upcoming “Superman: Man of Steel” film. The new film is to be released in 2013. In order to fulfill his superhero status though he has to shape up through some superhero body training.
Part of the plan to get Cavill’s body to get him into the right proportions is muscle building dieting and a strict workout routine.
According to The Huffington Post, Cavill has previous experience in bodybuilding for movie roles through his experience in his portrayal of Theseus, Poseidon’s son who grows up to be King of Athens. His demi-god status will be in the film, ‘Immortals’, in November this year. In order to be a tough demi-god you have to buff up and be in shape.
Cavill will be stepping up from Greek Hero to Superhero in “Man of Steel.” This requires a different workout routine.
According to Total Film News, Cavill is consuming 5000 calories every day that includes protein and only a small amount of carbs. He told Total Film News, “I’m training two and a half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman.”
Cavill’s goal is to try to stay as true to the original Superman character as he can, both in personality and physicality. This will be a unique take on the film by having the British actor star as an American Comic Book hero.
In the new film a strong cast of familiar characters played by even more familiar stars will join him. The list includes Clark’s love interest, Lois Lane (Amy Adams), Clark’s bossy, the Daily Planet chief Perry White (Laurence Fishburne), General Zod (Michael Shannon), ally general (Christopher Meloni), Clark’s adoptive Earth parents, Pa (Kevin Costner) and Ma Kent (Dianne Lane), and Clark’s Kryptonian parents (Russell Crowe and Julia Ormand).
Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Express Regrets
Speaking of stars and new looks, Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt spent millions for their new look creations. The new looks were made in hopes of increasing their fame and making their reality TV stardom into a life-long career.
Montag, 24, underwent plastic surgery for a new enhanced look not that long ago. Where before she hoped her new look would take her to fame, she now regrets that decision. According to ABC News, the former MTV “The Hills” star spent millions on “a failed attempt at a music career and more than a dozen plastic surgeries.” The surgeries include a brow lift, two nose jobs, a chin reduction, two breast enhancements, and a buttock augmentation.
Pratt, 27, spent his millions for a new wardrobe that he admits he never wore again. He also bought show “props” like the monster truck he used during one of “The Hills” episode. He has never driven the truck since.
Where they had millions to spend on stardom and fame, they now have nothing and are broke. They are now currently living in Pratt’s parents’ home in Santa Barbara rent-free.
Their desperate living on paycheck-to-paycheck one-time roles for MTV contrasts harshly to their former lavish spending red carpet life.
According to The Daily Beast, “Heidi’s body and face are forever changed from plastic surgeries she now wishes she had not gotten; their relationships with friends and family are severely damaged; and they have found themselves largely unemployable, both on camera and off.”
Pratt has admitted that they have learned the lesson that one can be “too famous.”
