Entertainer Quickie: Eminem vs. Lady Gaga, Britney on Good Morning America, and Charlie Sheen’s Two and a Half Men Cancelled
Things are buzzing today in the music industry. From Eminem and Lady Gaga to Britney, there’s lots to talk about. We’ve also got an update on Charlie Sheen, since he’s been everywhere lately.
Eminem surpasses Lady Gaga as Facebook’s most ‘liked’ Living Artist
Eminem leaves Lady Gaga behind by accumulating more Facebook fans that the outrageous diva. While Eminem told Spin magazine last year, “I don’t know how to work a computer,” he may be pleased to know that his fans are ‘liking’ him at an average rate of 500,000 people a day. He currently has more than 28,975,000 fans to Lady Gaga’s 28,926,000. The only artist he has left to overtake is the King of Pop. The late Michael Jackson has 29,183,000 fans, and there are less than a million ‘fans separating him from Eminem’s still rising count.
More recently, Eminem appears alongside Dr. Dre in his newest video I Need A Doctor.
Britney to Perform on Good Morning America
Britney’s career continues charging full speed ahead. With the release of her new video, Hold It Against Me, she only further proves herself the reigning Pop Princess.
To help promote her new album, Femme Fatale, Brit will appear on Good Morning America on the release date, March 29th. “I’ll be performing for the first time ever in a special concert in San Francisco’s historic Castro district on Good Morning America. And I promise you it’ll be a morning to remember. See you soon!” she says in a video message to her fans.

Charlie Sheen’s Reaction to Cancelled Season of Two and a Half Men
Yesterday, CBS decided to discontinue the production of their hit TV show Two and A Half Men. It has a lot to do with 45-year-old star Charlie Sheen being admitted to rehab just a month ago. While he claims he is now completely sober, CBS isn’t buying it.
Sheen’s erratic behavior has prompted a strong reaction from the network. CBS Entertainment released a statement that read, “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Brothers Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season.” This leaves them with only 16 of 24 episodes to finish out this season.
Sheen is notorious for his gallivanting and merrymaking, leaving us to wonder if he can pull it together for another season of Two and a Half Men.
