DeAnna Pappas engaged

Former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas is getting married! After being dumped on season 4 of The Bachelor and calling it quits after a short engagement to a snow surfer, former Bachelorette reality star DeAnna Pappas has found “the one.”

Pappas, 28, announced through various media outlets this week that she will be getting married to former Bachelor contestant Stephen Stagliano. She also announced that her co-star, Holly Durst is engaged to Stephen’s twin brother Michael Stagliano, also a former Bachelor contestant.

The couples gave their “exclusive” story to US weekly, which chronicles how the engagement went down over Memorial Day weekend for Pappas.

Pappas and Durst were contestants on separate seasons of the ABC show. They met their fiancés at a party for 2009’s The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All special.

Pappas tells Us about Stephen’s proposal: “I was crying, holding his hands, and he showed me the ring. I just nodded, like, ‘Yeah!'”

Michael proposed to Holly on June 26 at her parents’ lake home in Doylestown, Ohio. He says, “I did it at sunset on a dock with a gazebo. I used fishing line to hang 55 fake engagement rings from the roof,” he tells Us. After offering her five fake rings to represent different relationship memories, he presented her with a 1.66-carat princess-cut ring from Boston’s King Jewelers.”

Look for a double wedding next spring that may also find its way onto TV via another reality show called Four Better, for Worse.
