Actor Charlie Sheen reportedly trashes hotel room on cocaine and terrorizes prostitute
An episode reportedly involving Charlie Sheen in New York’s famed Eloise Suite early Tuesday morning may have involved more drama than an entire season of “Two and a Half Men.”
It is being reported that Sheen went on an admitted cocaine and alcohol-induced frenzy while searching for his misplaced cell phone and wallet. While it’s not clear whether he found those items, the searching rampage did yield $7,000 worth of damage to his hotel room, prompting the paid escort accompanying him to call security in fear of her life.
According to Life & Style Weekly, cops arrived at the 45-year-old’s suite to find the hooker naked and locked in a closet. Sheen was also reported to be without clothes, and apparently began yelling incoherently at the police officers.
Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards was also at the hotel, staying in a different room with their two daughters. Richards was reportedly asked by hotel staff members to assist in dealing with the drunken and disorderly Sheen. Sources say authorities gave the actor a choice of either going to jail or admitting himself into a hospital for psychiatric evaluation. Richards accompanied Sheen to the latter. Sheen is not expected to face criminal charges.
While the famous actor reportedly admitted to officers that he’d partaken in cocaine and alcohol that evening, a rep told UsMagazine.com that Sheen was hospitalized after suffering “an adverse allergic reaction to some medication.”
It can be argued this escipade isn’t out of the ordinary for Sheen, who is the highest paid man on television, pocketing nearly $2 million per episode of “Two and a Half Men.” Sheen’s bad-boy reputation has long been founded on a history of prostitutes, drug abuse and domestic violence. The actor is currently on probation, and has been in rehab, divorce court and criminal court already this year.
Sheen is popular for his roles in movies such as “Wall Street” and “Platoon” and comedies such as “Hot Shots!” and “Major League.”
He is expected to remain hospitalized until Wednesday.
