Carrie Ann Inaba Engaged and Michael Buble Weds

Today was a big day for “Crazy Love” Canadian singer, Michael Buble and Dancing With The Star‘s Carrie Ann Inaba.

Buble got married to Argentine actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre in Argentina and Inaba got engaged to Jesse Sloan on the TV set of Live with Regis and Kelly in New York City.

In a civil ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina today, Buble donned a gray suit and Lopilato wore a violet dress with silver high heels and held a bouquet of purple orchids. This is just the first of two weddings for the new-Bubles. The pair will reportedly have a 300-guest ceremony this weekend at a mansion outside Buenos Aires.

The recent Grammy winner first met his star wife at a party after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008.  Buble says it was love at first sight. You may have seen this couple already in his music video, “Haven’t Met You Yet.” Watch it here:

The Buble’s honeymoon has been planned as an African adventure mixed with R&R and charity work for children’s causes.  And speaking of children…. Lopilato, says she wants to have four or five. Buble’s response, “I would like to start off with sea monkeys first and see if I can keep those alive,” he jokes to Entertainment Tonight Canada.

As for Carrie Ann Inaba, while being interviewed by Regis Philbin today, Inaba was talking about marriage and noted she had been waiting for Sloan to propose. Later in the show, Philbin read a mock question about the “right time to propose” and all of the sudden the lights went low and a violin player started to serenade.  Sloan entered on cue and said, “I struggle to find the words to express what you mean to me. You’re an inspiration, you’re beautiful, you’re wonderful, you’re everything to me. Will you marry me?”

Inaba said, “yes” and now wears a gleaming 2½-carat, D-color, princess-cut diamond with a secret to the flair.  Sloan had both his and Inaba’s birthstones hidden on the inside of the ring.  Inaba’s birthstone is a garnet and Sloan’s birthstone is a diamond.
