Entertainer Quickie: Britney Spears on ‘X Factor’ and Tim Tebow’s love triangle

Britney Spears on the rise

We all remember Britney’s crazy days.  They included a quick Vegas wedding to a long-time friend and a well publicized incident where she shaved her head.  After that there were pregnancies with Kevin Federline’s children, a terrible performance on stage, and more outrageous encounters.  The buzz around Spears, 30, has died down in the past few years and since her crazy period a new, more mature Britney has emerged.

These days she is entering in the final negotiations with “The X Factor” to become a judge on the televised talent competition.  Her agent/ fiancee,  Jason Trawick, is in the process of attempting to get her more than the $10 million offer already put on the table.  For a cool $15 million “The X Factor” could have her replace either Paula Abdul or Nicole Scherzinger.

After a conference call with the show’s creator Simon Cowell, reports have surfaced that he would feel highly complimented if Spears joined his show.  He considers himself “fascinated” by Britney.  “The fact that she’s one of the most talked about — not just pop stars but people — in the world today, means that you’ve got this star power.”

There is more proof that Spears has settled back into the role of pop icon.  She has regained the toned figure that she was famous for and tweeted a picture of herself starring in a video for Twister Dance, a hip, new version of the Hasbro game that was popular in the 90s.

Tim Tebow’s Love Triangle

Tim Tebow is an up and coming professional quarter back and seemingly all around good guy.  He made “Tebowing” a phenomenon and is outspoken about his strong values in the areas of religion and faith.  The only thing that he’s missing is a bombshell who is equally spectacular on his arm.

The media has been buzzing trying to see him caught up in a love triangle between two such blonde beauties.  Unfortunately, the result has been less than titillating.   First it was rumored that he was dating Taylor Swift, the girl-next-door country singer that would fit perfectly into his image.  Since that has lost some steam in the past few weeks, there has been a shift in the story.  What went from a simple dinner date between Tebow and Swift with agents accompanying  has transformed into a bitter love triangle involving two singing sensations and on top of that, they’re friends.

Enter Dianna Agron.  It’s fuzzy on it’s beginnings and sources, but apparently she’s dating Tebow too.  But that’s just what the media wants to happen.  Agron and Tebow have both refuted the claim.  In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel the Glee star spoke about the football star being signed with the same agency as she is and said, “”I had a lovely 10-minute chat with him.  I’ve got a boyfriend…I haven’t seen him [Tebow] since.”  To make it even more clear that the Swift and Agron have no “Tebow tension” between them.  They recently had an outing where they saw The Hunger Games together.

Tebow is similarly taking the rumors in stride saying, “It’s funny because, half the rumors, I’ve never even met the people.  And I’m sure they would be lovely.”  Well Tebow, whoever does nab you as a boyfriend will definitely have found quite the catch.  Newspapers, blogs, and magazines around the country will be watching and waiting for the moment that things become official.
