‘Big Bang Theory’ actor Johnny Galecki’s House Burns Down in Wildfire
The beloved star of Big Bang Theory, Johnny Galecki’s ranch burned down in a wildfire in Sal Luis Obispo, California. Galecki was not at his home during the wildfire and remained unharmed, despite the severe damages of his home.
Galecki’s large ranch home was over 1,200 acres and burned down his ranch, to include more property on the estate, which harmed his friend’s homes. Roughly, 40% of the fire was contained on Monday night.
Star from Big Bang Theory, Galecki, has yet to see the damages of his home because he is waiting for the fire to be completely contained. He wrote a genuine statement to TMZ regarding the fire and wished for the best for his friend’s homes also damaged because of the inferno.
He said, “My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire, the threat of which we live with constantly, which may seem crazy to some but we do so because living in our beautiful, rural area makes it worthwhile.”
Though Galecki did see something like this happening in the future, it is clear that this will be a horrific loss for his friends and family. Even with the potential of another fire happening again, he told TMZ that he plans to continue living in this environment and is thankful for the firefighters who saved what they could.
“We’ve done it before, and will need to do it together again, and it will make our community even closer and stronger” He said. “Endless thanks to CalFire and the Sheriff’s Office. I know you guys are fighting the good fight to keep us safe. So very relieved no one has been hurt.”
Clearly, this fire was and still is a hard battle to fight, but the star we all know and love is optimistic about the situation and relieved there is no harm to people on the estate. We send our thoughts to Galecki and everyone else involved in this awful natural disaster.
