Today’s Celebrity News: Break-Up & Baby

Yesterday was a big day in the celebrity world.

Orlando Bloom discussed his breakup with Katy Perry. He was featured in an interview by Elle UK, in which he talked about his past relationship that ended just over a month ago. He also discussed the infamous naked paddleboarding photos that were taken last year on his vacation with Perry and wasn’t shy about it.

“Yes, it was extremely surprising,” he said in the interview. “I wouldn’t have put myself in that position if I’d thought it would happen.” The media (and the internet) had a field day with the photos last August, creating all sorts of memes and circulating jokes. Bloom said he had a moment of “feeling free,” then later added “note to self: you’re never free! Ha!”

Bloom did feel free to talk about his ex for the first time since the breakup, though. He assured that there were no hard feelings between him and Katy. “We’re friends. It’s good. We’re all grown-up,” he said.

Tuesday also brought exciting news for “The Hills” stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, who are now expecting their first child.

“Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her. She has planned for and thought about this,” Spencer said in the story about the pregnancy in Us Weekly.

Heidi added, “The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child! I’ve read every pregnancy book, and now I realize I don’t know anything.”

Spencer and Heidi aren’t the only Hills stars to get pregnant this year. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port are also expecting this year.

“It seems like 2017 is the year to get pregnant,” Heidi told Faithwire in February. She also expressed in the interview that she didn’t think the time was right for her to start her family yet, but here she is now with her family about to grow!
