Apple Announces New Products

Another announcement from Apple dropped this morning, revealing new products throughout the company’s inventory. From iPads to iPhones to cases, there’s a little bit of everything in this new line of items. Even if you don’t need any new tech, Apple also revealed a new app that everyone can take advantage of.

New iPads

Apple’s line of iPads is now updated, with options available, like the iPad Mini, the new 9.7-inch iPad, or the iPad Pro in 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch varieties. The new iPad is thicker compared to the iPad Air 2, with a case about the size of the first iPad Air. However, the new option is much cheaper with a price tag of $329 for 32 GB of storage. Because of this smaller price tag, the new iPad has some features missing, like the iPad Pro’s True Tone display, wide color range, and stereo speakers.

New Red iPhone 7

This new iPhone is the same as the iPhone 7s already released, just in a candy apple red color. It comes in both sizes, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, with storage sizes of 128 GB and 265 GB. Along with the new color, this iPhone is special because, with every purchase, Apple will donate to (RED), an HIV/AIDS prevention and research.

iPhone SE improvements

This smaller iPhone has been upgraded from its original 16 GB and 64 GB options to 32 GB and 128 GB models. The smaller storage option costs $399, and the larger costs $499.

New picture/video app

Clips is Apple’s new app, which mixes Snapchat and iMovie. It allows you to create photos and short videos, import your own pictures to use, and add special filters and effects to your created photos and videos. The app makes it easy to export to your social media profile.

New Apple Watch bands and iPhone cases

More accessories are here! New bands are now up for grabs for the Apple Watch, with new options including a striped, woven nylon, Nike Sport, and Hermes. If you’re needing a new case for your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, six new colors of cases are available. Three colors are made of silicone, with colors azure, camellia, and pebble, which cost $35. For $49, you can get a leather case in the colors of berry, taupe, and sapphire.
