Anthony Bourdain TV Guide Interview

Anthony Bourdain, host of Travel Channel’s food adventure program “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” certainly doesn’t believe in holding back when it comes to food and he certainly doesn’t like holding his words back either.

Bourdain, who for many years worked as an executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles, a French restaurant in New York had some few biting words to say to his fellow celebrity chefs.

In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Bourdain made a hit on Paula Deen, the hostess of The Food Network calling her, “the worst, most dangerous person to America,” for being “proud of the fact that her food is f—ing bad for you.” His words to her, “I would think twice before telling an already obese nation that it’s OK to eat food that is killing us. Plus, her food sucks.”

Regarding Guy Fieri, Bourdain says, “I look at Guy Fieri and I just think, ‘Jesus, I’m glad that’s not me.’”

As if the insults aren’t enough Bourdain also took aim on Rachael Ray stating, “Does she even cook anymore? I don’t know why she bothers. To her credit, she never said she was good at it.” His borderline compliment came when he talked about her TV show where he says that although he doesn’t watch it, he seems to find it bearable enough to not “run screaming from the room”.

His words regarding Sandra Lee? Don’t mess with her. Bourdain says, “I hate her works on this planet, but she is not someone to be dismissed, clearly.”

Kim Kardashian’s Wedding

Kim K’s wedding to Kris Humphries is finally only a day away. After all the talk of the wedding plans and speculations that the couple will be spending upwards $10 million, everything will finally be revealed on Saturday.

Although the Kardashian clan has been keeping the wedding plans on the down low, there are a couple of things that we already know.

For one, we know that Kim’s 20 carat engagement ring cost $2 million. We also know that they will be saying their “I do’s” at the Scotto II Monte estate in Montecito, CA.

Kim has also chosen well-known designer Vera Wang to create her wedding dress. Interestingly enough, Kathie Gifford who is invited to her wedding let it slip that the guests have been strictly instructed to only wear either black or white leading to speculations that Kim maybe not be wearing white at the altar. After all, she wouldn’t want competition at her own wedding.

We may not know Kim’s dress color, but we sure know the bridesmaids’. Big sister Kourtney tweeted that the bridesmaid will be wearing green.

Don’t worry about missing a thing though, as the wedding is already planned into a TV special called “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event”.
