UltraStar Cinemas Fall movie line up
After having an amazing summer of films at the theaters, many moviegoers are excited to see the upcoming line-up of films for this fall. UltraStar Cinemas has recently released their list of upcoming of D-Box features and Kidtoon Films to the public.
D-Box
“Dredd” is a science fiction thriller takes place in a post- apocalyptic world where the United States is nothing more than a wasteland. Within the dystopian Mega-City One, criminals, under the reign of drug lord, Ma-Ma (Lena Heady), gain control through the reality-altering drug, SLO-MO. The only protection the city has is the Judges, a group of tough law enforcers who have appointed themselves as judge, jury, and executioner. Judge Dredd (Karl Urban), most fearsome member of the group, is given the task of taking Ma-Ma down. The film will be released on September 21st.
“Frankenweenie” is a comedy-animated film that will be featured in 3D and black-and-white. The main protagonist of the film is young Victor Frankenstein who is heartbroken over the death of his beloved canine Sparky. Not ready to give up on his dog, Victor decides to create a machine that will bring Sparky back to life. However, the young scientist’s good intentions quickly lead to a series of chaotic and monstrous events. The film will be released on October 5th.
“Alex Cross” is an action thriller that is based off James Patterson’s Alex Cross novel series. Dr. Alex Cross, a cop, vows revenge after a sadistic killer brutally murders Cross’s wife. The line between the law and chaos becomes blurred though as Alex hunts the mastermind down with a passion that blinds him to everything else. The film will be released on October 19th.
“Silent Hill: Revelation 3D” is a horror flick that centers around the character Heather Mason. When her father goes missing on her eighteenth birthday, Heather discovers that her identity isn’t real. She soon becomes trapped in the alternate reality town of Silent Hill and finds the answers behind her childhood nightmares.The film will be released October 26th.
“Wreck-It-Ralph” is a hilarious animated kids film about a villain who is tired of playing the villain. The story centers around the protagonist Ralph, a video game villain who is weary of his role as the game’s villain. Ralph goes on a quest to find a game where he can fit in and be a hero. However, his simple dream leads to disarray as Ralph causes chaosin the video-game realm. The film will be released on November 2nd.
Kidtoons Month Features
October: “Chuggington: Traintastic Adventures” – Come join the fun with the Chugginton crew as they go off on their latest adventures. The film will feature six exciting episodes about Koko’s training, Brewster’s new invention, Wilson’s track lift, and a game of tug-a-war.
November: Welcome to LazyTown
December: Barbie: The Princess and the Pop Star
