The Wolfpack is back! In this last installment, Hangover III, the gang once again joins together two years after their Bangkok adventure. Now happily married, Stu (Ed Helms), Doug (Justin Bartha) and Phil (Bradley Cooper) live in a life of bliss and contentment.
However, there remains one member of the Wolfpack who finds himself alone with no purpose in life, Alan (Zach Galifianakis). After attending his father’s funeral, Alan goes off the deep end by refusing his medication and gives in to his inner impulses. In order to help their friend, the gang decides to check Alan to a special facility in Arizona to treat his mental issues.
As the usual, the gang’s plans get derailed when Doug gets kidnapped by drug-lord Marshall (John Goodman). The criminal who kidnapped Doug makes one request, to find Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), whom had stolen $21 million from him. To save him, the Wolfpack returns to the place where it all began, Las Vegas, and find Mr. Chow and surrender in for Doug.
The Hangover trilogy comes down to a dramatic close as the Wolfpack search through the chaotic city to search again for Chow and save their friend.
Another installment to the series arrives on the big screen. The latest Star Trek film, Star Trek Into Darkness, promises to be just as exciting as the earlier one back in 2009. After disobeying orders to save a fellow crew member’s life, the USS Enterprise is requested back to Earth.
Once there Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) finds himself demoted and Admiral Pike (Bruce Greenwood) reinstated as Captain of the Enterprise. However, the crew come across a foe from within their own organization. A force of great power and terror destroys Starfleet, and everything it stands for. After the destruction of Starfleet Earth now finds itself in a dire situation with chaos and misery on the rise.
With a thirst for revenge for their fallen comrades Kirk, Spock (Zachary Quinto), and the rest of the crew travel to a war-torn world for a one-man weapon of ultimate destruction and the man responsible for such terror, Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch). Friendships will be tested, lives will be at risk, and questions of morality will be tested in this exciting and new addition.
Star Trek fans both new and old will surely enjoy it.
The original crew returns in the latest release of Fast & Furious series. In Fast & Furious 6, Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) and their crew members have scattered to various parts of the world. Although the heroes have gained $100 million from their Rio heist and the destruction of a kingpin’s empire, they can never return home. Unable to see their families and loved ones, the gang find their lives lacking and unfulfilled.
However, the members find themselves an opportunity to change their predicament when Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) visits. Hobbs offers the crew full pardons in exchange for their assistance in tracking down and defeating an organization of “lethally skilled” mercenary drivers. However, as the crew assembles their team in London, they come across a big surprise. The mastermind, Shaw (Luke Evans), has recruited an old love of Dom’s who was thought dead, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez).
Will the team succeed and return to their families?
Based on William Joyce’s illustrated children’s book, The Leaf Men, Epic is a computer animated fantasy-adventure film. In this new film, the story takes place in a secret world hidden inside the forest where forces of good and evil fight for control of it.
A young girl, Mary Katherine (Amanda Seyfried) visits her father, Professor Bomba (Jason Sudeikis), an eccentric man who studies the forest. Additionally, Bomba collects artifacts that belong to the warriors of the forest, the Leafmen. However, the Professor immerses himself in his work and Mary Katherine (M.K.) feels neglected. As she travels through the forest for her father’s escaped dog, Ozzie, M.K. suddenly finds herself shrunken and transported into the Leafmen’s forest realm.
There, she must join with the warriors in their fight against the villainous forces known as the Boggans in order to save the forest. The animated film is full of strong cast members including Colin Farrell, as Ronin, the leader of the Leafmen, Beyoncé Knowles, as Queen Tara, Christopher Waltz, as the Boggan’s leader, Mandrake, Josh Hutchrson, as Nod, a young Leafmen warrior, and more.
Epic promises to be a beautiful and amazing film that people of all ages will enjoy.
