Perfect weather is amongst us this weekend in San Diego, featuring many fun events for you and your family to enjoy. For golf lovers, head on over to the green at Torrey Pines for the chance to see Tiger Woods, Phil Mcllroy and other professional golfers during the Farmer’s Open. This is also the last weekend of San Diego Restuarant week, for guests to enjoy over 180 restaurants and delicious cuisines.

San Diego Restaurant Week

Explore some of San Diego’s wonderful restaurants during San Diego Restaurant week for the chance to taste unique offerings. With a ticket to restaurant week guests have the opportunity to take advantage of several cuisines all throughout San Diego, including brunch, lunch, and fancy dinners. The last day is Sunday, January 26th.

Farmers Open

The Farmers Insurance Open is back at Torrey Pines Golf Course, with the first tee off at 9 am. Watch one of the most famous athletes of all time, Tiger Woods tee off at 9:40 am. General admission is $65 per person.

Lunar New Year at Seaworld

Ring in the Chinese New Year at Seaworld, with sights, sounds, and aromas of Asian. This celebration is unique as the park offers Chinese acrobats, local performers, and delicious culinary delights. General admission tickets are $93 per person.

Hops on the Harbor with Bay City Brewing

Gather your mates and come cruise with San Diego’s best local breweries for a beer lovers event of a lifetime. Every Friday night, Flagship Cruises hosts Hops on the Harbor craft beer dinner cruise, this month featuring Bay City Brewing. The experience includes rotating local brews and craft beer flights, selection of gourmet food stations, meet and greet with brewers onboard, prizes and giveaways, and spectacular views of the San Diego Bay. Tickets are $84.50; boarding is at 7:00 pm.

Disney on Ice at Pechanga Arena

Join Mickey and friends for a night of adventure, filled with world-class skating, high flying acrobatics, and unexpected stunts. General admission tickets are starting at $15. Three showings are scheduled: 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 7:00 pm.

The Art of Flamenco Dinner Show

Spend an evening at the wonderful Cafe Sevilla, featuring delicious Spanish cuisine and a Gypsy flamenco dance performance with European elegance. Tickets are $45 per person. The dinner show will begin at 7 pm.

Santee Sunset Fun Run/Walk

The 5K course will be the same as the USATF 50km Race Walking course that professional athletes just competed on to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Race Walking team in the Tokyo 2020 games that morning. The race will begin at 7:30 am, adult tickets are $25 per person. Participants will receive a t-shirt, beer, and a yummy cupcake.

San Diego Polo Cup

Enjoy a fun day of polo at the Del Mar Track in front of the Club House Finish Line, at 3 pm Saturday afternoon. All profits will benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter as well as the State of Baja Children Public Education & Drug Prevention Program. General admission is $75 per person.

Pure Projects Anniversary Party

From 1-5 pm Pure Project Brewery will be hosting a 4th Anniversary party, with games, rare beers, beer garden, raffles and much more. Tickets are $25 per person.

Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge

Hanohano Outrigger Canoe Club and Huki Outrigger would like to invite you to the 25th Annual Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge to be held in Mission Bay. The Hanohano Huki Ocean Challenge is one of the Longest Running Paddlesport Races in California (OC-1, Surfski, Traditional Paddleboard, Standup Paddleboard, and Kayak). Registration and breakfast begins at 7:30 am.

Sunday, January 26

Shen Yun at the San Diego Civic Theater

Shen Yun invites you to travel back to the magical world of ancient China. Experience a lost culture through the incredible art of classical Chinese dance, and see legends come to life. The play will begin at 2 pm, tickets start at $81.50 per person.

Caffeine Crawl San Diego

Coffee and tea lovers, this is your calling! Experience a caffeine crawl with up to 40 businesses participating for the chance to enjoy some of San Diego’s top coffee and tea shops. Tickets $34.50 per person, which includes 5 total stops. Each ticket has a different route. View a list of routes here.

Kimchi Workshop and Beer Pairing

Learn how to make probiotic kimchi, an ancient Korean pickle as well as sampling a beer flight. Second Chance Brewery, up in North County will be offering this wonderful taste and learn from 12:30-2:30 pm. Tickets are between $40.

Bird Habitat Restoration

From 9-12 pm at Fiesta Island, join San Diego Audubon as they restore nesting habitat of the CA Least Tern, an endangered seabird. We will be working to remove these weeds, repair fencing and install signage, all to help this little bird and its chicks thrive. Free admission.
