San Diego Weather – weekly snow and surf report
Once again, unfortunate weekend rain is giving way to a week of sterling weather. Sparse clouds early in the week will vanish in favor of pure sunshine, persisting through the end of next weekend. Spring is definitely on the horizon, with this week offering a tantalizing if slightly cooler taste of the coming months.
Temperatures will hover from the upper 50’s to the upper 60’s during the day, before dropping down to the low 50’s and occasionally upper 40’s at night.
Surf conditions will be excellent throughout the week. Cloudless skies, warm water, and moderately sized waves ensure that the beaches will be packed.

Surf Conditions
Water Temperature: 60 – 58
The spectacular weather and moderate, chest-high waves averaging roughly four feet make this a perfect week for surfing, although it likely also means the waves will be crowded with other surfers.
Big Bear Conditions
Weekend rain will produce a couple of inches of fresh powder, so make sure to head up to Big Bear early in the week to take advantage of the good conditions. The clear skies should translate to an easy drive up to the mountains and great opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. As we get deeper into March and on into April fresh snowfall will likely dissipate, so make sure to catch it while it lasts!
