San Diego Weather and Surf Forecast
The glorious weather and perfectly warm temperatures of this past weekend are forecast to continue throughout the week, providing a tantalizing reason to skip work or school and head to the beach instead.
Occasional scattered clouds will disturb the uniform blueness of the region’s skies, but the lack of rain and persistent warmth from an unrelenting sun will make outdoor activities a pleasure to enjoy the entire week. While you still may want to keep a sweater within easy reach for those cool nighttime breezes, during the day it’s time to ditch the jeans and sweatshirt in favor of shorts, a T-shirt, and sunscreen.
Surf Conditions
Water Temperature: 59 – 57
Warmer temperatures and the looming prospect of summer vacation in the next few weeks are sure to produce congestion on the sands and in the waves, fueled by thousands of high school and college kids celebrating the end of the school year. Dry weather and variable wave size make this week, and potentially many more weeks soon to come, a golden opportunity to enjoy the waves and increase your surfing skill.
Temperatures
Temperatures will inch upwards this week, ranging from the mid 60’s to the low 70’s during the day, before dropping into the upper 50’s to low 60’s at night. Expect a chilly breeze at coastal areas, especially at night.
