This week on Winning In Life, Steve brought us up to speed on current topics ranging from the new ipad mini to Obama’s healthcare plan. He touched base on the current financial situation in Europe and how it can affect your portfolio, advising to pay attention to the contents of your portfolio, because if you have assets in European countries you need to remember their taxes are being raised; resulting in less money to spend which leads to a number of situations.
Europe isn’t the only one with rising taxes; right here in the U.S. we all know that taxes are going to go up too. Many people are making the poor choice of waiting to see what congress and the senate are going to do regarding the tax situation, because by the time they’ve figured it out it will be too late. You need to figure out how you’re going to reduce your taxes for 2012 now, regardless of what congress and the senate decide. Steve advises you to call their office to discuss your tax plan, so you have plans in place for several scenarios.
Towards the end of the show Steve treated listeners with an interesting article titled “10 super scary money nightmares.” He described the 10 types of nightmares and what they could mean. If you’ve been having nightmares lately, it may be associated with your current financial situation.
