Wine & Roses Charity Event June 7 at Grand Del Mar
The 32nd annual Wine & Roses Charity Wine Tasting event will take place on June 7 from 3-6pm at The Grand Del Mar. The event is hosted by the Social Service Auxiliary of San Diego and is the city’s longest-running wine event.
Enjoying lavish wines and delicious food is always fun, but when tickets go to charity, it’s even better. The event benefits the youth summer camp, Camp Oliver, which provides funds to kids who cannot afford to go to camp.
The afternoon will feature a wide range of award-winning wines to taste and bid on at auctions throughout the event. You will also enjoy tasty bites from some of San Diego’s best eateries and live entertainment. Don’t miss out on the auction and opportunity drawing for a chance to win the grand prize — an eight day/seven night stay in a two-bedroom vacation villa at the winner’s choice of a Hilton Grand Vacations Club Resort in Hawaii.
Wine & Roses is presented in combination with the San Diego International Wine Competition which took place in January. The winning wineries from the competition donate a case of their award winning wine which is auctioned to attendees.
Wineries pouring for your tasting enjoyment include Callaway, Falkner Winery, Lion’s Run, Weibel, Rancho de Philo, Dulzura Vineyard & Winery, Lucas & Lewellen, Dry Creek Vineyards, Benziger, St. James, Villa Bellezza, Wollersheim and Cedar Creek and so many more.
Participating restaurants and vendors include Amaya, Bread & Cie, Brooklyn Girl, Cafe Chloe, Ironside Fish & Oyster, JRDN, Kettner Exchange, Oceanaire, Solare, Temecula Olive Oil Company, The French Gourmet, Vin de Syrah, and Yummy Cupcakes.
This ticketed event is open to the public, with prices beginning at $100 for general admission, $150 and $275 for VIP admission, and $2,200 for a VIP Table.
