This Weekend in San Diego: Competition courses through the county involving lingerie-clad ladies, brides-to-be, and our very own Chargers
Halloween is only a week away! Don’t get too preoccupied with what costume to wear quite yet and throw on a jersey as a multitude of terrific teams visit San Diego on this fine Fall weekend.
Athletes assemble as the Golden State Warriors face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the San Diego Sports Arena. Watch as Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry go head-to-head to see who owns the California court.
If you weren’t able to find tickets to see Interpol featuring the White Rabbits tonight at the SOMA, head over to the House of Blues for Corey Feldman’s Lost Boys Ball with Truth Movement.
Friday, October 22
Head over to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for the start of the 2010 Harvest Festival which last through Sunday, October 24. Have a fun-filled day perusing a multitude of homemade arts and crafts as well as live entertainment all weekend long. Also starting today is the New Vision Music Festival in Oceanside showcasing various local artists throughout the three-day celebration at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater.
Start your weekend with a giggle as “fluffy” funnyman Gabriel Iglesias graces the stage at Humphrey’s by the Bay for an evening of laughter, or cruise over to the House of Blues for a performance by Flyleaf with special guest Story of the Year.
Get seduced in San Diego! The lovely lingerie-clad ladies of Seattle Mist and San Diego Seduction duke it out full contact at the San Diego Sports Arena presented by the Lingerie Football League.
Saturday, October 23
October just wouldn’t be right without Rocktoberfest in North Park! From 11am-10pm throw back a couple of brews while great music from eight bands on the two stages on 29th & University Avenue.
Keep your buzz going with Wallpaper and The Butterfly Bones at the Casbah or Four Year Strong featuring Comeback Kid, The Wonder Years, American Fangs, and A Dull Science at the SOMA.
Halloween at Del Mar starts the costumed celebrations early with trick-or-treating, entertainment, and crafts throughout Downtown Del Mar while just down the road at the dozens of brides-to-be flock the Fairgrounds for the Bridal Bazaar, San Diego’s biggest show featuring thousands of wedding ideas, fashions, and services. While the bridezillas are busy at the Bazaar, head over to Qualcomm Stadium to watch the San Diego Chargers take on the New England Patriots.
