International Kids Film Festival – August 25th

Your kiddos deserve a night out on the town, just as you do. Let your children explore the magical films that will be playing at the Schulman Auditorium at Carlsbad City Library. There will be more than 100 films being shown from a variety of countries. Doors open at 10:30am and tickets are only $5.

Farm Animal Fridays – August 25th

Farm animal Friday’s is another perfect adventure for your little ones. At the Children’s Discovery Museum from 10:30am-11:30am your children and entire family can come by and play with the adorable farm wild life. There are also a diverse selection of workshops, each with a different theme.

Friday Happy Hour at Del Mar

Happy hour starts early this weekend at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. You can get half off the cocktails, including the Margarita, Martini, Mojito, and the Mule. Summer Camp Out – August 25th – August 27th

This is the 14^th year in a row of this trendy and vibey festival, and its in your very own backyard. This adventurous clash of music will be held by the beach with over 60 different musical acts, that will fill your night with entertainment and amazing memories. There will be beer, food trucks, and a mix of all music types available. Create a summer outing while you still can, that will end your warm and carefree months with unforgettable memories. This event is both Saturday and Sunday, with tickets starting at $40.

Daybreak at Del Mar

If you want to start your weekend off active, after sitting down all week in the office, the workouts and delicious breakfast after at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club may appeal to you. You can wake up with the sun, and from 7:30am-9:30am you can view morning workouts, and learn from Jeff Bloom, a former sports announcer, while eating breakfast in a restaurant with a breeze. You will be able to ask questions, get advice, and learn how to live a healthier lifestyle.

 Crop Swap – August 26th

Swap your crops with your neighbors and engage with your San Diego locals. Come and swap fruits, vegetables, plants, and herbs. This event is the perfect way to discover new fruits and vegetables, while getting to know the people that live in your hometown.
