Fred Hall’s Fishing, Tackle, Boat and Travel Show
The largest outdoor recreation festival in the nation will take place this weekend, called, Fred Hall’s Fishing, Tackle Boat and Travel Show! The festival is now 41-years-old and features over 500 booths, hundreds of boats, 200 outdoor recreation seminars and occurs for four days.

Watch March Madness at the House of Blues
Looking for a place to watch March Madness while drinking and eating for a reasonable price? The House of Blues offers food and drink specials this weekend you don’t want to miss. Enjoy the $14 carnita sliders + draft beer flight pairing. Doors open at 4 pm, but you can also make a reservation!

Women’s International Film Festival at the Lot
The Women’s Museum of California hosts the annual international film festival this weekend in San Diego, which was created to celebrate women’s stories and experiences in the form of a motion picture. The organizer’s goal is to select films that represent women from different walks of life and give opportunities to independent women filmmakers from around the world. Race for Autism in Balboa Park
You can still register to participate in the Race for Autism, taking place in Balboa Park and kicks off at 8:30 am. Every last dime of funds raised go towards autism outreach programs and treatments located in San Diego. Located in the heart of the beautiful Balboa Park, the course is a sight to see. Enjoy the blooming flowers, views of greenery, and participate in the Race for Autism for a good cause.

Tequila and Taco Festival
If you haven’t already, buy your tickets for the tequila and taco festival and get the opportunity to try the finest tequilas and a wide range of savory tacos. While sampling delicious food and drinks, you can enjoy live entertainment like musical performers and chihuahua races.

Sip N’ Savor Festival
This weekend in San Diego is obviously a food and drink lover’s dream. The Sip n’ Savor food festival features an assortment of beverages, while giving you the opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes brewing process. Additionally, there are food samplings from local restaurants at the festival and live entertainment by local bands, all while raising money towards the American Liver Foundation. Tickets are still available.

Painting By the Sea – Hotel Del Coronado
The unique experience, Painting by the Sea, at Hotel Del offers participants a combination of a gorgeous view of Hotel Del and a paint brush. Stretch & Fetch at Ocean Beach
Calling all dog lovers! Ocean Beach offers athletic classes for your dog and you to try together every Sunday at 10 am. Stars Gazing at Mission Trails Park
On the second Friday of every Month, the San Diego Astronomy Ocean offers “star parties” at Mission Trails Park. The event is located on the at the east end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground’s Day Use Lot. Telescopes will be available for you to view the stars and planets. If it ends up raining this weekend, the star party will be cancelled.

San Diego Beatles Fair
From 12 noon to 11 pm, the San Diego Beatles Fair takes place at Queen Bee’s Art and cultural center. The festival celebrates the Beatle’s influence on Pop-music culture and recognizes their success to be remembered for years to come. Musical guests feature Billy J. Kramer, The Falling Doves, etc. at stages. Maybe if we’re lucky, the classic song “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles will play so many times and omit the rainy forecast of the weekend.
