Friday, December 20
Holiday Nights at Bernardo Winery
On Friday and Saturday, the winery is open until 9 pm, lit up with twinkling lights and full of Holiday fun! Enjoy an evening of old fashioned Christmas at the winery, including hot mulled wine, live music nightly, carriage rides around the vineyard and much more. Free admission and parking.
Christmas Card Lane
Stroll through Christmas Card Lane in Rancho Penasquitos this Friday night for the chance to see beautifully lit up houses, train tracks and much more. Residents display large plywood greetings in their front yard, all of which are Disney themed.
Standup Paddleboard Yoga
Escape the Christmas madness for a relaxing yoga session on Mission Bay. The class is offered for all ages and levels, regardless of your experience with yoga or paddleboarding. The price per person is $35, that includes all the equipment.
Kobey’s Swap Meet
Get your last-minute Christmas shopping done at Kobey’s Swapmeet located at Sports Area Boulevard. Make sure to bring cash as some vendors may not take cards. Kobey Swap Meet will be open from 11-3 pm Friday afternoon, there is a $1 admission fee.
Bite San Diego: Little Italy
Explore Little Italy through a guided food walking tour with stops at Royal India, Berkeley Pizza, pizza, The Rooftop Bar, Davanti Enoteca, from 12-3 pm. The cost of attendance is $47 per person.

Winter Wonderland at the Fairmont Grand
The holidays are magical at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Skate under the twinkling palms or take a whimsical ride on the Ferris wheel. Guests will have the opportunity to snap selfies with Santa and friends by their festive 25-foot Christmas tree Saturday from 1-9 pm. Enjoy fireside s’ mores and traditional refreshments in the Moët & Chandon Champagne Garden.
San Diego Gem Faire
Whether you’re Christmas shopping or treating yourself to some nice jewelry, The San Diego Gem Faire is back in town featuring crystals, gems, beads, gold & silver, minerals & much more from 10-6 pm. Over 100 exhibitors from all over the world will be on site. Admission is $7, free parking included.
Seas ‘N’ Greetings
Birch Aquarium is transformed into a holiday wonderland. Deck the Hall (of Fishes) and get into the holiday spirit every day from 2-2:30 pm and 10:30 – 11 am. Check the schedule for special appearances by Scuba Santa as well as a scavenger hunt and fun photo opportunities. General admission tickets for adults are $19.50 and $15 for kids.

Grab your family photo with Santa when Kris Kringle himself is available in Center Court, Level 1, during most mall operating hours from now until December 24 from 9 am-10 pm. Skip the line by making a reservation online.
Festive Berries in the Park
Join a Mission Trails Regional Park Nature Guide as you experience the many ripening berries this time of year. Learn about the winter adaptations plants and animals employ to make their home in sage and chaparral communities on a fun and engaging nature exploration from 9:30- 11 am.
Art of the Holiday Show
This fabulous holiday gift boutique show offers unique, affordable artful gifts in a wide variety of mediums including woodworking, glass, textile art, jewelry, greeting cards, and much more that makes it perfect for holiday gift-giving. The event is from 10-4 pm at the Fallbrook Art Center. Free Admission.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Only a few more weekends left of catch the How the Grinch Stole Christmas play at the Old Globe Theater. Grab your friends and family for a delightful carol and show. There is an 11 am showing, at 2 pm showing and a 5 pm showing on Sunday. Ticket prices start at $82 per person.
Holiday Cupcake Decorating and Wine Tasting
Join Rancho Guejito Vineyard for a festive class with expert sweets & treats maker, Jennifer Kober. Make your own merry cupcakes while enjoying fine wine along with yard games and live music. Kids’ (or non-wine drinkers) are $15, and adult (21+) prices are $25. Every participant will receive 6 of their own cupcakes and all the supplies needed to decorate. Wine is included for the 21+ participants.
Winter Whale Watching
San Diego is one of the best locations to watch whales year-round! Gray Whales migrate winter to spring from feeding grounds in Alaskan waters to calving lagoons in Baja California and back. The price to attend is $45 per person, kids under 3 are free admission.
Salute the Season
Salute the Season at Liberty Station features Rady Children’s Ice Rink on the Central Promenade through January 5, 2020. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, except on Christmas Day. All proceeds go toward the Thriving After Cancer Program at the Rady Children’s Hospital’s Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Tickets are $13-$15 and include skates and a helmet.
