Seven celebrities who endorse Trump, Clinton
It’s Election Day, and while the next incumbent President will be expected to be a part of the bi-product of arguably the most polarizing election process in U.S. history, the celebrities have made sure to make their voices heard. Ranging from issues that are existential to domestic in nature, many celebrities have taken to concerts and speeches in an attempt to provide clarity to many of these issues.
Whether you’re voting for Clinton, Trump, Johnson or any other candidate, this election is sure to be a momentous one.
Here are some celebrities who have made their endorsements public to the nation, many of which may surprise you…
Beyonce
Believe it or not, the pop-star has acted as a vocal mouthpiece in this election. In a concert last week, Beyonce and Jay Z hosted a concert in Hillary Clinton’s honor, which was titled “Get out the Vote” in Cleveland, Ohio. The region has been deemed one of the battleground states heading into the election.
Sigourney Weaver
The acclaimed actress, who owes her fame in large part to the protagonist role in the Aliens series, has been reported to endorse Hillary Clinton for President. After voicing her concern over climate change during this year’s Democratic National Convention, Weaver cited Clinton as the candidate that is in alignment with her views.
Tila Tequila
The actress has taken to her Twitter account in support of Donald Trump. Tequila’s most notable espousal of the real estate mogul’s has been the proposition to build a wall on the Mexico border. She has gained increased popularity thanks to her voice acting on the Robot Chicken TV show and an appearance on I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.
Willie Robertson
The reality television star of Duck Dynasty recently came out during the Republican National Convention in his support of Donald Trump. Robertson’s speech entailed that Trump is dependable while relating to him on issues of their wives, business acumen and success in the television business.
Elizabeth Banks
The A-list actress appeared during the Democratic National Convention in support of Hillary Clinton. The Pitch Perfect star expressed her elation at the outset of Clinton becoming the first female President of the United States during her speech.
Stephen Baldwin
While his brother notoriously made a parody of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, Alec Baldwin has endorsed Donald Trump for the presidency. In fact, the younger brother chastised his brother for making light of the election in an interview with CBS News.
Maryl Streep
The illustrious actress, who has an entire Wikipedia page solely devoted to the plethora of awards throughout her career, has endorsed Hillary Clinton for the next POTUS. In a speech at the Democratic National Convention, Streep stressed the importance of Clinton’s influence over women everywhere to be the next President.
