It’s a beautiful weekend to spend out in the San Diego sunshine. There are a ton of events happening all over the county to spend some much needed quality time with your loved ones. So check out what wonderful events are happening around you.

Entertainment

Talented street performers from around the country can be seen at this year’s Spring Busker Festival. On April 16 & 17 from 12pm-5pm head over to Seaport Village as comedians, jugglers and stilt-walkers cruise through for the only busker festival in Southern California. For those 18+, stick around on Saturday from 6pm-10pm for Buskers After Dark as the unedited performers take to the streets along with a DJ rocking turntables through the night.

Hold on tight for the Annual Lakeside Rodeo. This year’s three-day event from April 15-17 will feature bareback riding, bull riding, barrel racing and more heart-pounding mayhem at the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds. On Sunday morning, hop over to the House of Blues for the world famous Gospel Brunch where guests can fill-up at the all-you-can-eat southern buffet while enjoying the live music show.

Fairs and Flowers

Cruise over to Coronado for this year’s flower show Dig, Design, and Dine. From April 16-17 enjoy days filled with horticulture and flower design surrounded by the beauty of Coronado. Be sure to check this year’s addition of a beer garden at the show in Spreckels Park.

Spring is definitely in full effect, so enjoy all the beauty nature has to offer us this year. There’s few better places to go this weekend than Balboa Park. The flower frenzy continues with the start of the 52nd Annual Easter Lily Display on April 16th which lasts through May 4th at the Botanical Building in Balboa Park.

Then be a part of EarthFair 2011 from 10am to 5pm Sunday, April 17. With over 350 exhibitors, a Food Pavilion, three entertainment venues, the eARTh Gallery art show, the Cleaner Car Concourse and more, it’s no wonder over 60,000 visitors stop by this annual celebration.

Concerts

The flower theme of this weekend doesn’t end with the fairs and festivals. The fun starts off at the House of Blues this Thursday as 91X presents Brandon Flowers with Nervous Wreckords. Then take a trip back with a visit to the Copley Symphony Hall as the legendary Motown group The Temptations take the stage both Friday and Saturday night with original Temptation Otis Williams.

More musical magic this weekend includes Saturday performances by Dirty Gold as they promote their record release at the Loft with guests So Many WizardsThe Diplomats featuring Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana, and Jim Jones at 4th & B, and a sold out show from Ellie Goulding and The Knocks at The Casbah.
