The 2016 Monster Bash is returning to San Diego October 29th
The 2016 Dos Equis Monster Bash is returning to San Diego on October 29th from 6pm to 12am. The haunted festival will cover over eight city blocks, feature over 20 DJ’s and have five stages of haunted-themed areas.
Party goers will flock downtown for this nationally acclaimed Halloween festival. Each year the bash expands its creativity, and ensures that every year will be better than the last. If you are a fan of Halloween, then plan on getting lost in the nightmarish, twisted world that the Monster Bash creates.
There will be a total of five stages throughout the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village that will come to life and offer various ghostly experiences. The stages include:
The Doll House Stage – This theme features dolls that want to play with and terrorize you. Cracked dolls, baby dolls, and voodoo dolls will come to life and taunt you at this stage.
Wicked Whitelands – Walk through the frosted gates of this stage only to find many faces and creatures drained of all life and color. Walk into this creepy world while listening to some of the world’s best DJ’s
Scary Tales – Imagine the playful Snow White and the seven dwarfs, or Rapunzel’s silky long hair. Now imagine that all the characters from your favorite books are trying to kill you. Scary Tales stage takes on your favorite childhood tales in a twisted disturbing way.
Dia De Los Muertos – A celebration of sugar skulls and spirits will dance around you at the Dia De Los Muertos stage. Latin spices fill your head when you visit this haunted domain.
90’s Horror House – Special for exclusive access attendees only, guests can experience the hauntings of the 90’s with a special performance by Too Short.
It wouldn’t be a Halloween party without a costume contest. Monster Bash will hold their signature $5,000 cash costume contest, giving the huge prize to the person who has the best costume. The creativity of the costume contest is a sight to behold and has become a Monster Bash tradition.
Tickets are only $55 here, and include food and drink specials as well as free cover to participating restaurants and bars in the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village. Find your best costume, buy your Monster Bash tickets and join in on the scary celebration on October 29th.
