Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market at Liberty Station July 15 -16
Calling all thrifters and shabby chic enthusiasts! On July 15th and 16th, Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market will be coming to town and setting up shop at Liberty Station. If you haven’t heard of Junk in the Trunk, let us introduce you: Lindsey and Coley started their business in Phoenix, Arizona. After they bonded over their love for vintage treasures, they decided to create their own market to bring rustic beauty to the masses. Their first market was held in a friend’s backyard and they welcomed 23 vendors along with their own items that they had been saving for the event. The backyard market was a success with over 600 people showing up. There were cars parked along streets for several blocks in the neighborhood!
Since 2011, Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market has welcomed well over 100,000 shoppers through its doors across Arizona and California. What started as a small backyard market and creative outlet for founders Lindsey Holt and Coley Arnold, has supported more than 600 small businesses over the last five years. Reaching the local community has always been at the heart of the event. The market has long partnered with non-profits to bring forth the greater good.
Junk in the Trunk markets are a great way to spend a weekend morning. Stroll through the aisles of vintage vendors with a cup of coffee in hand and fawn over beautiful trinkets, jewelry, and furniture on display. Whether you’re just window shopping or you’re redecorating, Junk in the Trunk is a great way to get some inspiration and some unique flare.
Market attendees are sure to find the best collection of vintage and handmade vendors from across the country selling all things chippy, rusty, vintage and handmade. There are more than 50 curators for the event, including names like Funk Gypsy, Disco Trash Vintage, Mesa Vintage, and Rusty Saturday. 87 vendors will be selling their vintage goodies, so it’s almost impossible to leave empty handed! From live music to the best local food trucks, shoppers will be inspired while browsing over 100,000 square feet of vintage and handmade treasures.
Junk in the Trunk is truly a unique vision and a breath of fresh air. You won’t find mass produced items, everything is vintage or handmade, and the site is truly beautiful. We hope you stop by and see for yourself!
