Halloween Weekend in San Diego: Check out the tricks and treats around town!

It’s Halloween weekend! There are lots of frightful and fantastic festivities occurring throughout the county this Thursday through Sunday, so get your costumes ready for frenzy of fun!

Thursday, October 28

For some early Halloween celebrations, those 18 and over can head over to Belo nightclub for the 2nd Annual Nightmare on E Street. Get dressed for some ghoulish fun in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Starting off another full line-up of concerts this weekend, ROCK 105.3 and 101 KGB present Steel Panther at the House of Blues while Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl the Gorillaz with special guest N.E.R.D.

Friday, October 29

Kenny Loggins takes the stage at the Pechanga Theatre, while Portugal. The Man with White Denim and Honeychild rock the House of Blues.

The music mayhem continues at Mission Beach where Jack FM Presents Dead Man’s Party, the 10th annual Halloween bash held at the Soundwave. The 21+ event starts at 8pm and featuring an Oingo Boingo cover band  bringing live tunes all night long.

Saturday, October 30

For some family fun and fitness, head over to the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Miramar for the Monster Dash. The event features a 10K/1K/5K run starting at 7am, but get there early to register.

Gaggles of teens will surely flock to the San Diego Sports Arena as boy wonder Justin Bieber stops in San Diego for his My World Tour.

Get your halos and horns ready for The Heaven & Hell Halloween Music Festival and Costume Party at the Del Mar Fairground. From 8pm to 2am, rock out all night long and ring in the haunted holiday the right way. More midnight mayhem is happening at the House of Blues as Victory Nightlife presents The Halloween Block Party.

Sunday, October 31

Happy Halloween everyone! Today is not just about costumes and trick-or-treating, drive over to Oceanside for the 2010 Dia de los Muertos at Mission San Luis Rey for a cool cultural celebration honoring those who have passed.

The All Hallows Eve nightlife is full of events. Head to La Jolla for Barfly’s Halloween Nocturnal or hop over to the House of Blues.  On the Voodoo stage celebrate Lindsay White’s CD release and Halloween Bash with Rob Deez, Kenny Eng & Veronica May featuring I.Am.Lost.Photography, while over at the main stage, Casbah presents Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77.
