Country Fest at Del Mar featuring Billy Currington

On Saturday Aug. 5, Billy Currington is coming to Del Mar and we can assure you that this is not an event you want to miss out on. Dust off your old cowboy boots and hats in the back of your closet, and be prepared for some good ole American fun.

Before Billy Currington hits the stage in the evening, there are a bunch of additional events to look forward too. In fact, there is even a Chili Cook Off that will be taking place at 1 pm this Saturday. At the Chili Cook Off you can enjoy free chili samples from the West Coast’s best cooks all in the Seaside concert area. You can even grab a ballot and vote for your favorite chili in the People’s Choice category. Also, there will be mechanical bull rides and trick roper at this event.

After the Chili Cook Off is when the party starts and the live music  finally hits the Seaside stage. It will officially start with performances from Steven Ybarra and Nancarrow  at 5 p.m. Then, the performing artist we are most excited for, Billy Currington will cap off the country concert, shortly after the first race.

The concert is included in the price of admission to the race track, however there are an abundance of different options for tickets including the Premium View VIP area tickets. With these tickets, you’ll have the best view in the house for $50. Also, you’ll gain access to a private bar and access to the elevated viewing platform next to the stage. Furthermore, you’ll get racetrack admission after purchasing these tickets.
