Chelsea Handler is coming to town this Saturday
Late night talk show host, best selling-author and stand up comedian Chelsea Handler is coming to San Diego. And if you love a lot of crude, shockingly honest humor and Belvedere Vodka—or any kind of vodka—then for you it’s like Santa’s coming to town.
The hilarious Chelsea Handler is headlining a 21-city tour to celebrate the release of her third book Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. Her previous books, Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea and My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands were a huge, entertaining success. While reading about Handler’s bizarre adolescence and even more bizarre sexual encounters in her collection of short stories, you will literally laugh out loud. Her show “Chelsea Lately” is also successful as the highest-rated program on E!.
Handler will be in San Diego this Saturday, May 8th. At 3PM, she’ll be at Warwick’s bookstore in La Jolla signing her latest book, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. Be sure to get your tickets in advance.
At 8PM, Handler will be performing at the San Diego Civic Theatre in downtown. The 21-city tour, presented by Belvedere Vodka, is sure to bring plenty of laughs to San Diego. According to a recent interview with St. Joe Live, on stage Handler will cover some subject matter from Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, as well as other material. “It just depends on how much I’ve had to drink that night,” Handler says.
Unlike her late night show, which pokes fun at the lives of pop-culture’s favorite gossip stars like Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears, Handler’s stand up will focus on her own life–“in a brutally honest, expletive-laden way,” states the Chicago Tribune. Furthermore, she won’t have her usual roundtable of comics and celebrity guests, and unfortunately no Chuy. But you can rest assured that it will be one hell of a show—she did plenty of stand up long before she was a talk show host and author.
If you love Chelsea Handler as much as Chelsea Handler loves vodka, you don’t want to miss out on her show! And I don’t mean staying up late to see her on E! —hurry up and get your tickets to see her live this Saturday!
