Meet Chargers players, get Bloomingdale’s discount, food, and more — Event tonight!

Chargers’ Shaun Phillips will be at Bloomingdales this evening with tips for your perfect holiday party. He’ll teach you what to serve that will let you be the best host of the season, and what Bloomingdale’s styles to wear to make you shine like an all-star!

Bloomingdale’s Love Where You Live: The Shopping Benefit is a multi-charity fund-raising event for organizations throughout San Diego. Chargers’ Shaun Phillips and After-School All-Stars (ASAS) will be holding this evening event, How to Throw Your All-Star Holiday Party, Presentation and Fashion.

Along with the presentation by Shaun, you can have an exclusive peep at the four segments depicting the season’s hottest holiday attire for cocktail parties, office wear, Christmas/New Years sophistication and Super Bowl celebrations. Look for a special line-up modeled by Shaun Phillips, Stephen Cooper and ASAS youth, with guest appearances from fellow Chargers teammates.

The Cheese Impresario is providing wine and cheese tastings from Artisan Cheesemakers of Wisconsin paired with Chardonnay & Pinot Noir from Flowers Vineyard & Winery. And you can never give up desert! Chocolates are being served from Patchi Chocolate.

The event will be open only to participants who purchase their $10 Love Where You Live ticket at the door or entrance of the event space and select “After School All-Stars” as their charity recipient. This also entitles participants to 15 percent savings throughout the store or 20 percent when they spend $300 or more on their Bloomingdale’s card.

Bloomingdale’s will be open to the general public, but the discount is valid only during the event, which runs today until 9 p.m.

All proceeds of tickets bought for Love Where You Live on behalf of San Diego After-School All-Stars will benefit more than 25 schools with comprehensive after-school programming in San Diego County that keep the community’s youth safe while nurturing their minds.
