Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The 23rd Annual ShamROCK

San Diego shamROCK is celebrating its 23rd year as San Diego’s most infamous Saint Patrick’s Day bash on Friday, March 17th from 6:00pm to midnight. Over 20,000 attendees are expected to party on green carpeted streets, throw back Irish libations (Sláinte!), and jig into the wee hours of the night to Irish punk, rock, and bass heavy beats across three stages. Top it off with the hottest plaid-clad go-go dancers in town and award winning traditional Irish steppers and you have a recipe for the perfect Saint Patrick’s Day celebration.

Just like every year in true shamROCK fashion, the fest will be taking the streets and turning them as green as the Emerald Isle for one night only. In 2017 the event is staying true to San Diego roots by offering an expanded selection of craft beer offerings at the giant pub in the streets to quench even the most discerning beer drinker’s palates.  After your thirst has been quenched, try out your best jig to our lineup of not-to-be-missed Irish rock and punk bands: The McNaughstys, Drunken Lullabies, Black Irish Texas, Brick Top Blagger, and the Downs Family. Irish music not your thing? They have you covered with two other stages of electronic music, big bass, and open format performers.
