Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is back for its 13th season
Fall lovers rejoice! We’re not but hours into September and Starbucks has once again graced us all with the presence of the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
The pumpkin flavored drink has been Starbucks most popular seasonal beverage of all time and is back for its 13th season. Made with pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, clove and nutmeg, the fall favorite is mixed with steamed milk and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
The official launch date for the PSL is on Sept. 6, but for reward members, fans can have “early access” and start lining up today to get one of the most popular fall beverages of all time.
For the first year ever, Starbucks will also allow some customers to order almond milk with their Pumpkin Spice Latte’s for the dairy free fans.
We can’t help but thank Starbucks for the wild pumpkin craze that has boomed over the past couple of years. From over-the-top pumpkin chips to pumpkin flavored Oreos, Pumpkin Spice has truly created its own brand over the years.
While we still have another 20 days of summer, the emergence of the PSL marks a bittersweet end to the summer days, but an unofficial joyous hello to beautiful fall.
After announcing the comeback of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks also announced the release of its newest seasonal beverage; the Chile Mocha.
The new mocha is made with steamed milk, cocoa and cinnamon, and is topped with whipped cream and a chili topping: cinnamon, sugar, paprika, sea salt, and ancho and cayenne chili pepper. Starbucks often releases new seasonal drinks each year, but none reigns as high as the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
We have all been waiting months to taste the sweet PSL, so if you managed to find a way into early access, head over to a Starbucks and get that Pumpkin Spice Latte that you truly deserve.
