Restaurant Bushfire Kitchen Opens in Carlsbad
Bushfire Kitchen is the sister restaurant of Bushfire Grill, the wildly popular farm-fresh restaurant in Temecula. It opened its doors late March 2015 in Carlsbad’s La Costa Town Square and is serving healthy, ingredient-focused cuisine.
“We’re thrilled to bring Bushfire Kitchen to San Diego,” said Brandon Barwin, co-owner of Bushfire Grill. “Our little restaurant in Temecula has become a household name to the thousands of people that appreciate tasty and wholesome, yet affordable, food. San Diego is rated one of the healthiest cities in North America, so we anticipate that our socially-conscious and affordable cuisine will appeal to this local market.”
When you visit you’ll notice that almost every menu item is made in-house, including their organic grass fed hamburgers, smoked Duroc bacon, organic Focaccia bread and hamburger buns. You’ll also notice that they have an almost 100% gluten-free menu.
Their burgers are a mix of brisket, chuck steak and short rib and are ground fresh daily. The cattle is humanely raised on sustainable family farms in the Western United States on soil that has been certified organic for ten years. Bushfire also offers antibiotic-free chicken that is rated among the best in the country.
Menu items include: A variety of rice bowls with fresh-grilled seasonal vegetables, slow-cooked braises, unique sandwiches, natural pork ribs, peri peri chicken grilled on the rotisserie, fresh British Columbia Salmon, a variety of healthy salads, hot sides and a good selection of locally-crafted beers and wines, including organic options.
Pop in to Bushfire Kitchen to enjoy healthy, honest food that you can feel good about eating.
