AWARD-WINNING CHEFS MICHAEL MINA, RICHARD BLAIS, ANTONIA LOFASO,NYESHA ARRINGTON, AND MORE LEAD PALATE

KAABOO Del Mar, Southern California’s premier three-day live entertainment experience happening September 13-15, 2019 in Del Mar, CA, has announced its PALATE (culinary) lineup. The culinary programming for the fifth annual event will feature demonstrations and gourmet tastings from celebrated culinary artisans including Michael Mina, Richard Blais, Antonia Lofaso, Nyesha Arrington, and more.

The newly announced culinary artists will join previously announced musical headliners Kings of Leon (Friday), Dave Matthews Band (Saturday), Mumford & Sons(Sunday), and a special Southern California performance by Duran Duran, as well as comedy ninjas Brett Kreischer, Wayne Brady, Bob Saget, Tig Notaro, and many more.

KAABOO culinary brand ambassador chef Michael Mina (Mina Group, International Smoke, Cal Mare) and five-time returning KAABOO chef Richard Blais (Juniper & Ivy, The Crack Shack), lead the PALATE lineup. The two will bring their respective award-winning menus to the oceanfront festival offering cooking demonstrations and tastings all weekend long. Mina, who is known for his bold dining concepts and internationally acclaimed restaurants, and James Beard nominated Blais, will craft food pairings alongside esteemed culinary experts Antonia Lofaso (Scopa Italian Roots), Nyesha Arrington (Native), Eduardo Garcia (Montana Mex), Travis Swikard (Boulud Sud, Bar Boulud), Ryan Gilbert (Vista Valley Country Club), and host Troy Johnson.

The 2019 PALATE program will feature offerings from Bling Bling Dumpling, Bra-boz, Broad Street Oyster Co., Everbowl, Madre! Oaxacan Restaurant & Mezcaleria, Mariposa Ice Cream, Miss Mini Donuts, Morton’s the Steakhouse, Napizza, Nacho Taco, Poseidon Del Mar, Red Hat Coffee, Red O Taste of Mexico, Shawarma Point, So Rich! Chocolates, Stoked Poke, The Baked Bear of Carmel Valley, The Barbecue Experience, and The Oceanaire Seafood Room.
