College Area taste event this Sunday

On April 13, 2014 (this coming Sunday), from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for the sum on $25 In Advance (hurry, Buy Tickets Online now), or $30 on Sunday, one can bring some buds and delight your buds (taste that is) on a Foodie Fantasy in the San Diego State College Area. More than 20 examples of the area’s cuisine will be available for sampling at the establishments participating in the 2014 College Area Taste.

Starting Sunday morning at 11, continuing on until 3 pm that afternoon, the curious and the hungry will enjoy their self-guided walking tour around and about the College Area, centered on the intersection of El Cajon Boulevard and College Avenue, beween Mid-City and La Mesa. The tour provides entry and sampling of entrees and savory dishes and desserts at the 22 restaurants included.

Don’t worry if the smells and sounds of folks enjoying food starts to get your hungry going, you’ll soon arrive at a spot to sample tasty treats.

And don’t worry if you tire of walking for a bite for a bit. Old Town Trolley buses are involved and will be ready to provide free transport (with a tour ticket) from one section of the Taste to another, throughout the College Area.
