Best Brunch Recipes to Make at Home
Brunching: (verb)- the act of eating copious amounts of food in the late morning and early afternoon. Where friends and family come together to enjoy each other’s company.
Try these recipes so you can participate in the act of brunching in the comfort of your own home! These simple recipes will make your “brunching” foods diverse, and delicious.
Guava-mosas:
The usual mimosa is made with a lot of champagne, and a little bit of orange juice. Spruce up your champagne with some guava juice! Add half a cup of guava juice, and as much champagne as you want. The sweet and tangy juice will make your taste buds tingle.
Stuffed Avocados:
- Dice two avocados
- Toss them with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, balsamic, and olive oil
- Mix well
- Scoop out the stuffing, and stuff inside the avocado shells
Vegetarian Spinach Cakes:
- Heat oven to 375 degrees
- Unroll pie crust and cut to fit into muffin tin
- Bake pie crust for approximately 8 minutes
- Take out and leave to cool for 5-10 minutes
- Mix in a bowl: eggs, spinach, cheese, salt, pepper (use 1 egg per muffin tin, plus enough toppings to sprinkle in)
- Fill crusts with the egg mix
- Bake for 20-25 minutes
Meat Lover Scramble:
- Heat olive oil into a pan.
- Add choped linked sausage and uncooked bacon and cook for 10 minutes
- Once done, throw the cooked sausage and bacon into the bowl with 3 raw eggs
- Poor all into a pan for about 5 minutes
- Once completed, sprinkle goat or feta cheese on top with some salsa
Chocolate and Strawberry Crepes:
- Pour a thin layer of pancake mix or crepe mix into a pan
- Cook each side for 1 minute
- Once brown, poor chocolate Nutella on top of one side
- On the same side, place strawberries on top of chocolate
- After completed, fold over other side of the think pancake
- Cool for 1 minute and drizzle more Nutella on top
California Omelet:
What you’ll need: frozen french fries, salsa, avocado, bacon, cheese, mushrooms
- Bake french fries at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes
- Fry bacon on a pan for 5 minutes on each side, twice
- Mix eggs, cheese, mushrooms, into a bowl
- Pour mixture into a pan
- Pour fries and sprinkle bacon into the pan
- Fold over omelet, and you’re ready to go
Croissant Double Decker:
What you’ll need: one croissant, eggs, bacon bits, cheese, avocado, gravy
- Scramble 2 eggs into a pan
- Sprinkle bacon bits and cheese on top, and set aside
- Heat up gravy for about 30 seconds
- Pour gravy on both side of the freshly cut croissant, and chop up your avocados
- For the final touch, pour the egg mix on one side of the croissant, and gently put your avocados on top
- Put other piece of croissant on top, and your perfect breakfast sandwich is done!
