This Valentine’s Day, Backyard Kitchen & Tap is offering a three-course pre-fixe menu for $49.95 for two, so couples can enjoy a romantic evening just blocks from the beach. For the first course, couples get to choose a starter to share from three different gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. For a signature salad, the Organic Greens mixed with Arcadian greens, strawberries, watermelon, candied pecans, feta cheese and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette is sure to be a favorite. Another option offered that evening will be the housemade Bruschetta, with roasted tomatoes, burrata, shaved garlic, onion, basil pesto, and crostini on the side. As for the third option, diners will love the 7-Layer Hummus that is also gluten-free and vegetarian, a chickpea hummus mixed with avocado mousse, black olive tapenade, roasted red peppers, cilantro, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and served with cracker bread for dipping.

Moving on to the entrée course, couples get a choice of one main course each. Options include: the Mushroom Ravioli, stuffed with crispy pancetta, wild mushrooms, and topped with a parmesan cream sauce; a Chipotle Rubbed Sirloin, cooked to perfection and served with Yukon potato gratin, sautéed beet greens, and a black pepper sauce; or the Jerked Chicken served with pan roasted potatoes, fire roasted bell peppers, and seasoned with a ginger banana chutney.

For a sweet fix as a finish to dinner, Backyard is offering two dessert options as the third course for couples to share. They are the Chocolate Decadent Cake, a moist chocolate cake stuffed with a dark chocolate mousse filling, topped with a dark chocolate glaze, and served with chocolate covered strawberries, or the Lemon Meringue Tartlettes boasting a lemon curd filling inside a marshmallow toasted meringue and served with fresh blueberries.

Unwind by adding a bottle of wine to the meal for $25. Backyard is offering two different wines: the Smith & Hook Cabernet or the Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Not big into wine? No problem! Backyard’s full cocktail menu and bar will be available to make a drink of your choosing. With a meal of a deal like this, Valentine’s Day has never been more special.
